ユノスクラは、レンズが作り出す実像を鑑賞するための装置です。一眼レフカメラに使われるような小さなミラーとスクリーンを用いて、手のひらに収まるレンズ交換式のカメラオブスクラを作りました。スマートフォンやミラーレスカメラの普及により、レンズが生み出す実像をセンサーを介さずに肉眼で目にする機会は大幅に減りました。技術が急速にブラックボックス化されていく中で、レンズが作り出す実像は人類が築いてきた光学技術の美しさを改めて感じさせてくれます。

The UNOSCRA is a device for viewing the real image created by the lens.
Using a small mirror and screen similar to those used in SLR cameras, we created an interchangeable lens camera obscura that fits in the palm of your hand.With the spread of smartphones and mirrorless cameras, the opportunity to see the real image produced by the lens with the naked eye, without the sensor, has been greatly reduced. As technology is rapidly becoming a black box, the real image produced by the lens reminds us once again of the beauty of the optical technology that mankind has built.
